The Benefits of Growing Your Own Wheatgrass
You
may have though about it at one time or another. You may just be
tired of paying the high price the markets charge for Wheatgrass.
Once you grow your own, you’ll be so glad you did.
One of the benefits is simply the cost. It can cost anywhere in
the region of £15-20 for two trays of fresh Wheatgrass which
will provide around a weeks supply of wheatgrass juice.
It will only cost you a little more to purchase our most popular
wheatgrass growing kit which provides around 18 trays of wheatgrass.
Getting the tablets and powders may be good if you require a specific
daily dose, but they can also be pricey and their supply will not
last you nearly as long as a supply of fresh grown Wheatgrass.
Along with the reduced cost you will always know that the Wheatgrass
will be there when you need it. Tablets and powders run out, meaning
you will have to pay out again each month. Despite what other suppliers
may tell you, it is possible to regrow wheatgrass for a 2nd and
3rd tray providing you replenish the nutrient that were absorbed
from the potting compost by the first harvest. Powdered seawead
is an excellent method for doing this as is azomite.
Growing
your own Wheatgrass is simply an all around better
idea than purchasing tablets and powders or paying a high price
for fresh products that do not replenish themselves. Besides, fresh
herbs are always better than supplements.
